After experiencing major disasters like 9/11 and Hurricane Sandy firsthand, Roman launched Ready to Go Survival, creating custom bug-out bags for families based on their specific situations. This first venture revealed the massive civilian demand for quality protective equipment - planting the seeds for what would become MIRA Safety.

A pivotal moment led to the realization that civilians needed access to professional-grade respiratory protection. Market research revealed a significant gap in affordable, quality options and no reliable one-stop shop for comprehensive protective equipment.

Roman is a recognized authority in emergency preparedness and CBRN readiness, called on by HBO, BBC, CBS, and other major media outlets to provide expert insight on crisis response and protective equipment standards. His perspective is shaped by direct engagement with the readiness challenges facing both institutions and individuals.
Roman is also the founder and CEO of Ready To Go Survival, a retail brand specializing in personalized emergency preparedness. At MIRA Safety™ he applies that industry expertise, along with a strategic focus on supply chain resilience and domestic manufacturing, to deliver protective equipment agencies and institutions can depend on.
Outside the office, Roman rides motorcycles, shoots competitively, plays handball, and has been known to take out the trash in full MOPP gear, much to his neighbors' confusion.
Tanya is a full-stack engineer with an extensive background in financial services technology. She holds degrees from CUNY-College of Staten Island and the Moscow Institute of Trade and Law.
A recognized e-commerce and systems architect, Tanya has built several successful retail platforms from the ground up. Her technical expertise across coding and database systems ensures MIRA Safety's ordering, fulfillment, and account infrastructure meets the reliability standards our institutional partners require.
When she's not building new systems for MIRA Safety's platform and product catalog, Tanya enjoys being a mom, spending time with her cats, competing in hackathons, and traveling.
